Superbike Advocates Racing was born from a lifelong dream.

Founded by Lecha Khouri, the creator of Supercar Advocates, the team represents the natural evolution of a vision to compete at the highest level of international motorsport across multiple platforms. While that journey spans continents and disciplines, World Superbike (WSBK) has always lived at the very centre of Lecha’s heart.

Growing up watching World Superbike racing, the intensity, rivalries, and sound of the paddock sparked a dream not just to follow the sport, but one day to stand on the grid as part of it.

An Australian and UK-based team, Superbike Advocates Racing brings together global perspective, engineering excellence, and racing heritage. That international foundation reflects the team’s ambition: to compete on the world stage with professionalism, authenticity, and respect for the sport’s history.

That ambition is shaped by lived experience. As a heritage Formula One driver himself, Lecha’s journey in motorsport has been defined by a deep respect for racing history and a lifelong passion for Italian machinery. From racing to collecting, the philosophy has remained constant to surround himself with machines built with soul, purpose, and uncompromising performance.

An avid Ducati collector and lifelong admirer of Italian engineering, there was never any doubt about the bike of choice. Ducati represents the perfect intersection of performance, heritage, and racing DNA. From motorcycles to iconic Italian automobiles, the connection runs deeper than competition, it is cultural, emotional, and rooted in tradition.

Through years of dedication, Superbike Advocates Racing has established strong relationships within Ducati and its elite racing division, Ducati Corse, united by one clear mission: to race the ultimate machines at the highest level of competition.

Superbike Advocates Racing will make its World Superbike Championship debut in the 2026 WSBK season, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the team on the global stage.

Alan Jackson

Alan Jackson brings a vast depth of experience to Superbike Advocates Racing, having competed as a racer himself. That firsthand background gives Alan a deep understanding of the passion, intensity, and precision required to keep a race team competitive and resilient at the highest level. With proven experience running his own Road Racing team, Alan combines leadership, technical insight, and race-day decisiveness a valuable asset in building and sustaining a successful WSBK programme.

Crew Chief | United Kingdom

Mick Shanley

With many years embedded in the World Superbike paddock, Mick Shanley brings exceptional experience across team organisation, crew chief responsibilities, and senior management roles. His extensive knowledge of WSBK operations, race execution, and team structure provides Superbike Advocates Racing with a strong technical and strategic foundation. Mick’s experience at the highest level is instrumental in delivering performance and consistency throughout the season.

Rider | United Kingdom

Tommy Bridewell

Tommy Bridewell is a highly accomplished and respected rider, bringing proven championship pedigree to the team. A two-time British Superbike Champion, Tommy has extensive experience racing across multiple World Superbike circuits and has also served as a manufacturer test rider. His combination of speed, technical feedback, and race intelligence makes him exceptionally well equipped to lead Superbike Advocates Racing on the world stage.

Neil Young

Neil Young has spent decades immersed in the motorcycle world, from road riding to racing paddocks across the UK and internationally. Acting as the key liaison between the team and its owner, Neil works closely with all departments to ensure alignment, communication, and smooth operations. His experience, trust, and understanding of the sport make him a vital link within the team structure.

Having worked within Ducati Corse and growing up in the WorldSBK paddock, Giulia brings deep-rooted motorsport knowledge and immense enthusiasm to the team. Highly talented in programming and data analysis, she will be the driving force behind the team’s electronics, playing a key role in performance optimisation and race strategy.
